Not here to hold your hand...

I'm here to program/modify your new or used car modules... That's it...

I'm not here to verify what you read in a forum that supposedly is a fix for your problem.  Not here to hold your hand and tell you what's wrong and how to fix it.  I have wasted my time helping people and they don't even send a thank you.  Do your homework!!  I do have alternative methods to tune modules to make them work without having to do costly repairs...but customers that don't appreciate my time will no longer know what those fixes are.  Peace.

Using Proper Terms..

Putting a "Re" in front of something indicates you want to do same or similar job AGAIN.  So like I mentioned in my last blog post.  "Reflashing / Reprogramming" a bad computer with the same software it already has inside it completely useless!!  If you read a TSB about an update to the module that might fix an issue...it's not a "reflash"  Its an update.  This means you are actually modifying the software inside the computer.
If you bought a used or new(blank) module and you need to "program" it your car.  Proper terms so person doing job knows how to quote are "flash" or "program" it.
Good example...
I bought a used/new "module name" for my make/model/year.  I need to get it flashed/program to work with my vehicle.
Bad example...
I need a module reflashed.

As you can see, the bad example doesn't tell me what vehicle, what module, is it new or used?  Are they trying to "reprogram" reflash the same faulty module on the car?  etc...  Don't be that customer.

Reflash or Reprogram Won't Fix

Having issue with your ECU and you have a buddy that "knows" everything or a mechanic that has no clue...  Don't take the following advice... "You just need to get module reflashed / reprogrammed or reset"
99.9999% of modules that fail have hardware issues.  Doing a reset, reflash or reprogramming is a waste of time and money.  Don't pay someone to come do the work as it wont fix issue.  Some modules do have updates that usually fix small issues.  Usually a quick google search will show a TSB talking about the update.
Some modules in BMW the data can become corrupted which reprogramming with special tools can fix the problem.
